Industry Affiliate Members

The Industry Affiliate Program (IAP), introduced in 2016, is an important mechanism for engagement with ACEMS, allowing industry collaborators to connect with ACEMS without the binding long-term contracts required for Partner Organisations.

As an IAP member, the organisation can enjoy a range of benefits: being welcomed into the ACEMS network; receiving invitations for staff to attend the ACEMS Annual Retreat and other workshops and events, for networking and professional development; an annual research planning session with ACEMS academics; and eligibility to apply for ACEMS Industry Collaboration Support Scheme (ICSS) funding for collaborative projects with ACEMS members.

Overview for 2020

• Collaborations with our Industry Affiliate Members, as part of ACEMS’ Industry Affiliate Program, continued to strengthen.
• A range of projects involving ACEMS members and IAMs were active in 2020. For details, see various sections of this report including the Research Theme Reports, Case Studies and IAM pages
• All three of the new ICSS applications approved in 2020 were for collaborative industry research projects with IAMs.
